Anwar has that rare and unique ability to know how to get the best out of others. His biggest strength is being able to form a deep relationship with people on an individual level. In 2018 Anwar hired me as Senior Performance Marketing Manager for The Dining Club Group where I was part of his Senior management team and was responsible for driving new customer growth.

 

However, despite being a Senior Manager, I was still too in the detail, imposed my way of doing things too quickly on my team and didn’t always consider the reaction from my action. Through structured 121 sessions Anwar was able to create a platform where I could reflect on both my successes and challenges at work. Utilising this framework Anwar effectively showcased how I could have approached situations differently by translating this in a way that resonated with the most impact.

 

As a result of Anwar’s coaching I was able to fundamentally change how I thought and operated at work and has allowed me to make the step up from Senior Manager to Head Of.
